in this egg i m gonna tell you how to adapt a paintball gun into a pellet gun its pretty easy to do but complicated to understand so i have made this long
ps this is my first egg
Materials:
1:paintball gun
2:pipe and reducer(reducer to go inside paintball gun barrel to pipe of desired size for whatever pellet)
3; bonder (ie glue or whatever you want to fix in place
4: anything which would hold your pellets for example bb’s a 6mm pipe for pellets something square or whatever this only needs to be about 30 cm tall at the most more length =more amu but more arquard cus this is gonna stick out of the top of your gun
5:hacksaw
step 1: cut halfway down the paintball gun’s barrel although you were going to cut it off but stop once you are halfway down (the further from the bit where the paintbals are the weaker the gun but the paintball reserve thing musent overhang your hole
step 2: make another cut same as the first about an inch or two up the barrel
step 3: cut along between the two cuts you made earlier so now you should have a 1-2 inch top half of the barrel missing
step 4: attach pipe to reducer using some sort of bonding (glue)
step 5: do the same thing you the pipe (about an inch from the reducer) that you did to he paintball barrel but don’t make the hole too much longer than your desired pellet if your not sure make the hole big enough for the longest pellet you could possibly want to fire
step 6: slide pipe and reduce down paintball barrel (reducer first)
step 7: when the reducer gets to the hole you cut earlier cover it in the bonding glue and slide the reducer down past the hole you shouldn’t be able to see the reducer through the hole you cut in the paintball barrel
step 8: not quiet sure what to call this but the reason its there is to stop the gas dissipating into the thing that will store your pellets all you need is a pipe slightly bigger than then one inside the paintball barrel this little piece of pipe doesn’t need to be more than 2 inches long at most and should fit snugly around the barrel you just added (the smaller pipe) if it doesn’t fit snugly then you could add an o-ring or two maybe a washer but then you would have to grease the %$^% out of the thing so i would advise just finding the right pipe
step 9: next is the mag if you’re using bb’s you can simply use the same kind of pipe as the barrel you added if your using pellets you need to find something to hold them a conventional one as far as i know wont do unless you broke the thing at the top and removed the spring even then it wouldn’t really work as you would have to take out reload and the glue back in place again you can use whatever you got i cant think of anything at the moment, as long as when you stick it in it can be reloaded from the top, and not have anything pushing down (as this would stop step 8 working easily)
now once you have the right thing for the mag your going to need to stick it in the top of the gun i would advise soldering it, gluing would work but as you have that sliding thing(step 8) you want to keep this area quite clear
step 10: now your going to solder something to the sliding thing in step 8 so now you can easily slide it forward and back again you can add a spring if you want to hold it in position when you aim downwards you could try bending a coat hanger or something round the slider and to the trigger but that’s complicated
step 11: testing, now you have completed your gun but as it is very powerful you dont want the pipe you added blowing up when you fire it, so to test, pour bb’s into barrel not too many but about twice or 3 times as many as you would normally fire
now as your gun is meant to fire paintballs not pellets it will obviously have no trouble speeding them up but they will hit terminal velocity quite early i l show you how to modify pellets to make them more acurate and improve range with high power air guns in another egg but about the gun it might be an idea to make the holes in both barrels bigger and to add a few more mags so you fire 3 pellets on one blast of air or so
ok this is long but please dont rate down because of that (remember the end product is a 4500 psi pellet gun!!!!)
Jun 29, 2008 2:18 pm - Where do you get 4500 psi? Some number pulled randomly out of your ass? This also will put unnesacary stress on your gun, in turn which will damage it. The bolt is meant to push on something, which you are taking away from it.

-no pics -1*
-trying to tell me a paintball gun can withstand an enormous 4500psi of pressure (a pressure sililar to that of the bottom of very deep oceans) -1*
Jul 06, 2008 11:46 am - i was thinking of how i could make one of these on the cheap and make it semi auto or fully auto

Hi dumbfuck, stop being so ignorant, 4500 psi is the internal pressure inside of the paintball tank, at no point what-so-ever is 4500psi used in the paintball gun, as it is regulated down to a maximum of 800 psi. I didnt say it wouldn’t work because there is a bolt, I said it was bad for your gun. Get your facts straight.
Jul 07, 2008 4:29 pm - you did say that you dumfuck and i fucking knew at no point was the pressure in the gun at 4500 psi if it was it would blow the fucking barrel and the bolt wouldent work plus you would get about 3 shots out of it you did say that even know you claim you dident you just know your fucking stupid ut dont want to admit it
Jul 07, 2008 4:31 pm - its not fucking bad for your gun why the fuck would it be?
when the bolt is shut its exacly the same as if the bolt werent there the bolt acts like the side of the barrell quit trying to make yourself look smart by telling others your wrong and talking bullshit
